He walked up front,
he knelt and prayed
He started to cry
but no one could hear.

She walked up beside him,
she started to weep,
“Why’d you take him?
Why’d he have to leave?”

She wept and wept,
ignoring the people,
the cross was there,
he was listening.

He saw her and pity grew,
he was there with her,
he was true!

She couldn’t see his ghostly face,
she couldn’t see his tearful eyes,
He hugged her and tried to say
“I’m here baby girl, with you each and everyday!”

She felt a bit better,
still couldn’t feel his touch,
but she felt his comfort,
she felt his crush.

“If you’re there, know I love you!
I’ll never be the same without you!”

Years and years went by,
and he was there,
He never stopped loving her,
never stopped caring.

She always felt him,
and she was never the same,
but she lived her life,
he would have done the same.

Finally, when she went heavenly home,
old with a wrinkled nose.
She had children, and so many friends,
the funeral was much bigger than his.

“Hi!” he smiled as he saw her face,
she had never changed her lovely face.
“Hi” she smiled, and couldn’t look him in the face.

“What’s wrong my love?” He asked quietly,
sad he wasn’t there, sad he had to leave.

“I missed you so much!
I was in so much despair.
No one would listen,
no one seemed to care!

“And you left!
I knew you never left completely,
but you left!
you left me but not leave me.

“And then surprise,
I found someone knew,
but of course he wasn’t,
he wasn’t you!”

“I knew you were gone,
I knew there’d never be another you!
But I had to move on,
you would want me to!

“But i still feel,
feel like I betrayed you!
For you were my love,
I feel like I left you!”

He watched her closely,
he saw her face,
she looked up weakly,
tears streamed down her face.

“My darling,” he started
he reached out to touch her.
But he changed his mind
and hugged her.

“My darling, my dear,
I never left you for real!
It was a mishaps,
it was a accident.

“But my darling,
You did the right thing,
I wasn’t there,
So I sent him for you!

“You did not betray me,
if anything, it is
I, You!

“I wanted you happy,
I gave you your time
but I knew you’d want someone
I knew you were too kind!

“My darling,I love you!
and because I do,
I wanted you happy,
even if I weren’t with you!

“Yes I sent him,
I did dare,
for I know he could love you,
even knowing I was there.”

They hugged and she wept,
her face seemed childishly kind.
But he looked up toward heaven,
and nodded a reply.

“Thank you” he thought.
“I know you had a plan,
I got to watch her
and I became a happy dad!

“Thank you! So, for everything working,
I’m glad she was mine,
and I’m glad she moved on”

God looked down, he smiled and winked,
Everything was okay,
because he said it would be.
