Boy in The Dark
When he sits there all alone.
He won't let it out.
He is made of skin and bone.
He has every doubt.
He keeps it inside.
No one will ever know.
The rest of his life will hide.
His darkness will grow.
The face that tells lies.
He cannot breathe.
The sweet dark lullabys.
He knows he's not made of concrete.
He will continue to play his role.
Pain, loss, despair, fear.
His poor broken soul.
So he picks up his shear.
He sees the blood.
Everything he sees will drop.
As he sees the flood.
He won't stop.
