What's the Point of Hope?
What's the point of hope
when all is dull and blunt?
With past, present, future we cope
Pointlessly for hope
The days become shorter
Nights painfully long
We all look towards Summer
And the birds merry songs
Though Summer is known to disappoint
And blindly, we're swallowed
With the hope of tomorrow
A hope that is lost and dead
But hope keeps us going
Its our drive
Because our ultimate goal
Is a perfect life
And when hopes fully lived
And never lost
Hope is a reward
But still has it's costs
