Little Red, Little Red,
are you there?
Your grandma’s sick,
and she needs lots of care.

Little Red, Little Red,
hurry up! Quick!
You’ve got a long journey
and the woods are quite thick.

Little Red, Little Red,
run if you dare.
There’s a big, bad wolf,
and you are its hare.

Little Red, Little Red,
back so soon?
You weren’t gone very long,
its only late afternoon.

Little Red, Little Red,
you don’t look so good.
Your face is quite pale,
and there’s blood on your hood.

Little Red, Little Red,
your eyes- they look strange.
They’re a different color,
why have they changed?

Little Red, Little Red,
why do you cry?
I know what you did,
now don’t sit here and lie.

Little Red, Little Red,
she no longer needs care.
You see, you are the wolf,
and she was your hare.

The author's comments:
I have always loved the story of Little Red Riding Hood and I love wolves, so I made a twisted ending (hence the title) about my favorite tale.
