Little Girl
There once was a little girl
who was in love with the world.
She laughed and smiled
as she spun and twirled.
There once was a little girl
who never frowned,
but slowly as time went on
her happiness drowned.
There once was a little girl
who loved herself
until society told her
she wasn't enough.
Her meals got smaller
as did her hope.
Her nights got longer,
so did the rope.
One night she snapped,
it became her end.
All because of society
this little girl's dead.
There once was a little girl
who believed all their lies.
Don't end up like her,
know true beauty lies inside.
