They say after heartbreak, a haircut
A clean slate for every mistake
But now I’ve no hair left for cutting
And even less heart left to break

i would say its about love and her giving her all but yet the person dont love her back so she/he (idont really know if this is a guy or girl) tries and tries again but yet dont get no love back so she gives her heart out little by little like a hair cut till she dont have nothing left

I actually don't remember - it's been a while since it happened, sadly. But I don't remember it taking too long - a couple weeks at most. How long has it been since they told you they were going to publish it?

Hey one of my poems have been selected for the magazine in teenink. I saw that you have been published as well in the magazine. Do you know how long it usually takes them to send me a conributors copy with my piece published in it? I am waiting for it in the mail.

I love how you say it so simply with subtle rhyme. it sounds smooth and graceful, not as if you are trying to pathetically rhyme it. I enjoyed it! Keep up the good work!
