How A Friendship Dies
Here stand you and I
This is where our friendship lies
It bled out and now it dies
You say everything is okay
So explain my blue stain
The happiness you've drained
You've done this time and time again
And I believed you were my friend
But you're become something I dread
You were not contrite
So I must resist you with all my might
Stop thinking that you're in the right
I held you near
Those memories were so dear
But I am gone and that is clear
Here stand you not I
This is where our friendship lie
It can never truly die
