Lights of insipartion
The lights illuminate, and my stomach turns and fills with thousands of butterflies,
As soon as the Xbox 360 kicks on, the little kid in me cries.
Playing on any game system brings back many heartfelt memories and flashbacks,
It’s like a time machine and I’m following the tracks.
Visions of me and my two older brothers on Christmas unwrapping our first PlayStation,
We were just kids with a brand new toy and an endless supply of imagination.
From then on Video games became me and my brothers’ connection,
Just playing video games and goofing around with each other having the most fun.
Life is short and full of lots of life and experience,
If you don’t live life the way you want you’ll never get over life’s fence.
Life’s fence separates the bland side of life from the flavorful and fun side,
Keeping lifeless people away from the life living imaginers, they should never collide.
Inspiration, to me, comes ever so naturally,
Flowing through my mind like the deep blue sea.
For this gaming system it only knows commands and codes,
Unnatural for it to think freely, without codes it wouldn’t live, it wouldn’t know.
