The Story of World War 2
It was an event of disagreement
Between two different sides.
No one knew if it would end,
Or if anyone would die.
The Germans captured Jews,
And locked them up in camps.
They tortured and embarrassed them,
Until they all had cramps.
We kept to ourselves,
Going our own ways
Until the Japs bombed Pearl Harbor
And they got us into all the fray.
Many got involved,
Many of them died.
It seemed to last until eternity,
But then we let our weapons fly.
Our bombs dropped on Japan,
We had to end this thing.
It was killing our own people,
And others stuck in this ring.
The war ended with that,
And everyone went their normal ways
Except the heroic fighters
Who left us while fighting for many long, tiring days.
