Stars in the Sea
I wish you could see the sky tonight,
you’d be mesmerized by all the lights.
We’d stare up at an ink-black sky
until we fall asleep or finally die.
The moments wash in like ocean waves,
your sea-green eyes, my hair in tight braids.
Our memories litter the sky at night,
every second that once shined so bright.
We glitter in the dark Atlantic,
lit up in the waves so romantic.
You glow like a galaxy in the dark,
and I'm just one of your many stars.
