Life in my Childhood
My Rochester
The broken sidewalks
The deep snow winter
The plant filled summer
Never to leave
Never to stay
To leave I’d feel I’ve betrayed
Out there is so much to explore a
And to that I truly adore
My thoughts seem the change with each passing day
They are fields of animals, gone astray
What I try to achieve
Never seems to leave
I can deceive and grieve
But instead I choose to believe
Life of a student
Is quite short
From writing essays
To the teachers that say:
Enjoy it, in 10 years
This will be what you’ll look back on
And remember and cherish
