Friend
Not a day goes by without my friend by my side
The sun shines a bit brighter the grass seems a little more green
I never feel the need to hide with you at my side
God only knows that we are not the average teen.
The scariness of life hits us everyday
When we walk out the door a problem seems to come our way
Sometimes I know you don’t know what to say
But having you there reassures a great day
We yell and scream sometimes at each other
But how soon we forget when we see one another
Sometimes were friends other times we’re mothers
But hey at least we get a laugh out of each other
You know were I am every minute of the day
But I know if anyone ask you’ll never say
We are friends till the end and that’s what’s great
I knew when we met it really was fate.
