You changed, and so I did.
But you said you care,
And you'll always be there.
This bond is for ever,
And you will ditch me never.
I remember those innumerable moments of fun,
That lunch box fight and the last minute run.
Planned mass bunks and unplanned photoshoots,
Those tripsy rides and chaotic public hoots.
That unforgettable school farewell,
And preboards which went like hell.
Last day completion of practical book,
And board exams when our minds shook.
Thought it was never going to end,
As you were always holding my hand.
It could last a lifetime my dear friend,
But you forgot it just like a weekend.
As you left me for no reason,
I now consider you as a season.
And I be like a carefree hobo,
Unaltered, whether you come or go.
