When Dawn Comes
I lay awake at night trying to think about anything besides painting
For a while I've been abstaining
Abstaining from eating
Because my brain and emotions have been competing
Competing for what, you may ask
I don't know, but it could be a task
A task that I'm not willing to take on
Because my thoughts will rage until dawn
When dawn comes I'll be ready
Ready to take in my thoughts again and become unsteady
