excess fat
When I was little we first met
For years we would pirouette
You stayed night and day and called me friend
And eventually made me think you would be there to the very end
You made my stomach grow and grow till I was overweight
And all you did to me was make me hate
I tried to kick you out but you consumed me
In a way that occurred a false sense of security
I pushed and struggled never thinking I would be free
I gave up thinking you would forever be a part of me
But then one night I realized your weakness
And said to myself I can beat this
It may take months or even a year
But soon you will be gone and out of here

what inspired me to do this was how I am currently overweight and I have struggled to get rid of it
