One Day I Will Fly
I am a room with no windows or doors
compressed to the wall
no room to walk or breath on my own
I want to brake open these walls and fly
but my chains hold me back
I am a marionette
with no visual strings
they hold me tight on a leash
yet it never holds me right
my time here is growing short
soon the snow will touch my face
the stars will dance all around me
then and only then I will know
I can be free to spread my wings
and fly forever more
