"We've got this gift of love, but love is like a precious plant. You can't just accept it and leave it in a cupboard or just think it's going to get on by itself. You've got to keep watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it." - John Lennon

"In my end is my beginning."... - T.S. Eliot

A knock
Distinct sound
Of anticipation
Curiousity
A window
Covered by curtains
To sneak a peek
Of the mystery visitor
A boy
Standing beautifully
Grin spreading
As the curtain's pulled back.
A jolt
Of excitement
Right through her weak body
Her broken bosy
A jiggle
Of the doors handle
Turned slowly
With some hesitation
A moment
Of complete silence
Staring deeply
With nothing to say
A phrase
Three meaningful words
She's been waiting a year for
Blurted out passionately
A kiss
On her virgin lips
As she falls into his arms
Complete trust
A dream
Constantly playing in her mind
A skipping record
More like...
A nightmare
Because it's not fair
Because it won't be
Because she can't have...
A boy
Standing beautifully
Grin spreading
As the curtain's pulled back.
A lone
In her messy room
With the stuffy air
That's her suffocating life.

I'm not sure... it just kind of flowed out of my pen. it may seem like a silly love poem but it's much more than that. Thanks for reading!

Life is what happens when you're busy making plans.

Really like this. Especially the way the end ties it back. Great, but I don't really get the last line
