Where Inspiration Comes From
'This experience is going to be poetry' poets tell each other,
But how do I explain my inspiration to another,
She is more then only one piece of poetry or a 'this',
And more then a careless hiss in life's mist,
I get inspired from her voice and her essence on how she obtains a presence,
Just spending one day with her is a blessing and devotion,
Because she gives me motivation to express my emotion,
With each word written it's to my senses an explosion,
My mind reads as my pencil marks and makes the motion,
The same motion that magically moves from her inspiration portion,
Sure I write the poetry but she writes me,
So it's a euphoric rush to see how my poetry will turn out and be,
All my lines take me to a time,
Where majestic memories were made and in my mind they shine,
She gets me to dig deep inside myself,
A place where I can get to that can't be shown by anyone else,
Once I go in I leave it to the pen and pad,
To value the impact she leaves on the gift I have.
