Brotherhood
Vocally silenced,
Yet internally outspoken.
Your mouth is sewn shut,
But your mind is now open.
Your humanity has been stripped,
To bring forth your true spirit.
You whisper to guide others,
In hopes that they’ll hear it.
You have sight,
Yet you see without eyes.
You can see more clearly;
You know where the truth lies.
You know everything, everyone,
Their names on a shelf,
But it was all at a cost.
The price was losing yourself.
