We planned our voyage across the stars
Just in case we ever made it that far
You told me that I was beautiful and amazing
I blushed so hard, my cheeks were blazing
Pages of my diary, now covered by your name
Who thought you'd be the one to douse the flame
I shone on you with my brightest light

And all I that I could muster was, “goodbye Spaceboy”
