Better than me
Look at me, what do you see?
Eyes never measure, words never define
The mind unable to comprehend what I say with my pen
The winter clouds of my thoughts blend into the summer sky of my heart
Look at me, what am I?
The very living, a human being, in a world of death
The healing pain that drives me insane
Chaos, the antidote of the antidote
Confusion, the fangs of terrible poison
Look at me, where do I stand?
A pure darkness or a tainted ground
Where do my feet rest? My head resting upon my chest
A whirlwind of truths and lies, the very map of my life,
A double-edged knife to my soul, a story yet to be told
The path, the wrath, the rage, the cage, the cure, the sure, the unknown
Taking it all in, letting none go
Look at me or not, it is your choice
But sooner or later you are going to hear this voice
The noise, the nuisance to your ears, but a message to your heart
So listen up, look at me and learn from my existence and you will see the truth
Don't try to be your best, just try to be better than me
