Painless Pain
What is this voice that speaks to me within?
Telling me all wrong is right, and all right is wrong.
Why is the silent cry not approaching?
Why does this painless pain never make me scream?
The howls, the cries, the lips, the lies.
And so I thought, a truthful tale, my happily never after.
And if we meet, what will go on? What will come and go?
To my darling, dark hair, dark eyes
This dark love will have its light.
Let go of my hand, let go of the past
For this secretive love, will never come last.
You are my darling.
You are my strength,
For when you leave,
I will have none.
I will live, and I will cry.
Please, let me hear, that one last howling cry.
