The wind sounds like music to my ears
The rain dancing across my skin
Like silent reminders
Giving me purity and washing away my sin
The shade cooling me
Feeling my temperature drop
The clouds arching
Unwilling to stop
Cool hands wrap around me
Giving me memories better left forgotten
Feeling the silent rumble
Peering at the ground already rotten
Shaking my head to the beat of the lightening strike
And feeling less scared
My body starting to tremble
Feeling as if the earth cared
Water rising slowly
Covering my dirty feet
Washing away my life
Feeling the escape of my heat
As the sky darkens I appear upon myself
Not only to feel
But to hear my heart beat
Using quickness and stealth
Not to disturb the slumbers wake
To only feel a sudden shake
The sky is clearing
And doesn't my mind
The clouds disperse
Everything left behind
Something once so beautiful
Breathe taking if described
Now left ruined
Nothing to decide
A tear drop falls beneath my eye
Never intended to cushion its fall
For hope and faith never stood before me
So it is best not to believe at all
Because for someone to truly believe
They must feel and see
To have faith
And that has never happened to me
And to believe in such greatness
This would take great strength
And to defend something so unknown
To any length
This does not rest within me
And unfortunately never has
Because what can take such beauty away
And replace it with such ugly is undoubtfully sad
The storm awakening
And replenishes my soul again
Replacing all the black holes
To make me whole within
The wind coming back
As to make music to my ears
Rain tickling my skin
Washing away my tears
This little gift given
As if it was an offered amend
This new found storm of hope
Gives me faith again
