Broken is A Mood
She stood by herself and held her head high
Ambitious; nothing would stop her
But then her best friend died
The world turned black and gray
Everything was a blur
Until a boy came along
And finally saved her
Now she was happy
Life was great for the two
They were silly together and almost never blue
There was such a powerful connection
No one thought it could be broken
Until later, the boy said he was done and left her
She felt lost and kind of stunned
It was so sudden, what could she have done
Nothing really, because the truth was
Her best friend had died again
