Contemplation.
Ever walk a curb,
One
foot
in front
of the other,
Arms outstretched,
Like you're on a tight rope
(Except its 50 times thicker and the fall won't kill you.)
?
That's me, right now
O n a l e d g e
Teetering,
like so many times before.
Sometimes I wanna
fall,
jump,
step
Over the edge;
Catch myself on the street below.
Sometimes I make it back up
Sometimes I don't.
I leave it all to fate,
(Its easier with the after-mess)
My dreams bring me here,
Never anywhere else,
Always to the ledge;
T e e t e r i n g .
Its funny how your mind always works against you.
Always second-guessing.
Number two is never my side.
I guess I tried hard enough.
Dream weaving is never a
taught-
strung
Business.
Then again, I'm not much of a
tight-rope
girl.
