Love(d) Reverse Poem
He loves me.
Never say that
The words have old meaning.
Again and again he’s shown the truth.
Staying on the phone for hours when we fall asleep means something.
It wouldn’t be true to say
We won’t last.
I know
This is something more than just passing time.
Don’t try to convince me
I’m just holding on to nothing.
Everyone can see
The smile I get isn’t vague.
You should never believe me when I argue
I may at first try to deny it but
Honestly
It’s true.
I would be lying if I said that
He loves me not.
