USA (why so great?)
Why is it so difficult?
The life that we are living in.
We war among ourselves,
Clash of friend on friend,
How can we label ourselves as "Peacefully Living Beings"
When all we do is hurt eachothers feelings.
My life,
Your life,
Has been corrupted,
Corporation smoke,
and big gassy busses,
We keep fighting,
But we are losing,
To us,
In the plural,
Cities taking over,
That which molding rural,
Into monsters of fuel,
Poluting by the minute,
While a tight knit group of girls stick close together,
One wearing plastic shoes,
Another a cow skin coat concealing pho feathers,
They stay close,
Their daddy warned them,
Of drugs, guns, and mad men,
While in the back of his mind,
His 49 caliber rifle hidden in the den.
Mother, worried sick,
Reading an article about some deranged lunatic,
Her child leaves for school,
For the rest of the day, gone.
The woman knows not, or seems not to care,
The boy at school is bullied about the cloths he wears,
His skin,
And the way he styles his hair.
Blackmail,
Secrets,
All bad signs,
And my final conclusion to say,
The USA,
Is really messed up.
