Two Twin Brothers standing tall,
Waving free in the autumn breeze,
Towering over all

A 'flying villain', a witness sees,
Hitting hard into its stone,
Burning bright at 45 degrees

The city chilled to the bone,
Angels falling out of heaven,
Losing a symbol of our own

The terrorists struck two hours past seven,
The day the world shall never forget,
The devastation known as September 11

I was inspired to write this poem after being asked to complete an assignment in which one was to discuss his/her worst memory.
