Holocaust
Over six million Jews suffered and died
Because of their beliefs and trying to hide
They were taken away and placed into camps
Where they were forced to work and the weather was damp
Some were lucky and ran away,
Others were unfortunate and perished during their stay
Some were brave and some were bold
Yet all their stories remain untold
We don't know all the people who died,
Or suffocated during the trasnit ride
But none the less we honor them all,
Because none of them deserved to suffer under Hitler's call
We keep this knowledge to our hearts,
To prevent the world from falling apart
Because when six million people die from one,
We know that's injustice and something must be done
We shouldn't let differences tear us apart,
Because that leads to fighting and wars begin to start
Everyone is equal
Each generation is a sequel
Why hate when we can love?
There's nothing to be afraid of
But we must never forget,
Six million Jews suffered and died
Because of their beliefs and trying to hide

After learning about the Holocaust, I decided I wanted to do something in the honor of the people who passed and the ones who were lucky enough to survive.
