I am wanting to hear yes but I am willing to hear no,
I love you but you will be better if you let me go,
You have done so many positive things to me that not only I can see,
But I know that a relationship between you and me could never be,
You made me feel what true love is about,
But it is just not for you so just leave me out,
You gave me a lot more to look at besides what is near,
But I will leave myself looking and feeling my own tears,
I am afraid I will blow friendship out of proportion,
And leave how we look at each other in distortion,
I am already experiencing self destruction from my loves devotion,
I have the fear of what the future will hold,
As I fold the future around me molds,
It is not that I feel this way because of you,
But from the dark depths of my sorrow ocean so blue,
So I am willing to hear no and just dive down,
To a face of a frown and where I can never be found.
