Fall
Sitting on that hill
Looking over the trees and its beauty
Knowing no beautiful thing lasts
Time goes by, and that beauty fades quicker than you could ever imagine
I take in the last days
Laying down, feeling the cold grass between my fingers
I feel a calm breeze
That ripples along the trees
Studying the leaves
With tears slowly dripping off
As if the earth was sad to say goodbye
To the light warmth on your nose
But today is today
Its fall
Or so they say
Because you never really know with bi-polar weather
From a chill rain falling
To all of the birds calling
You never know
But sitting on that hill
Looking over the world
I see great things whether leaves are falling or not
Make falls grave green
And let nature take its course.
Because its beauty will be back
