A Mask
When You look at me
All you see is a mask.
A mask of a girl
A mask that looks happy.
She's smiling
She looks free.
No one wonders
what's behind this mask.
She hides it so well
she doesnt notice it herself.
Once she looks in the mirror
Then she remembers the mask.
Its a mack that hides what she thinks
It's a mask that descises her true self.
No one knows
No One!
She's scared they'll judge
She's scared of getting noticed.
Somtimes the mask comes off
She feels vulnerable and so weak.
Then it goes right back on.
The mask hides the fact
From herself of her imperfection
Shes as scared as a new born kitten.
The mask carries her to a beautiful place.
Made just for her.
