Birthday
Birthday
A bright Sunday morning
The sky was blue as,
The sun aluminated my room
Mom came in my room and whispered softly.
I ran down the stairs,
To see my family.
Presents tumbled on the table
Organized from big to small.
Turquoise, green, and gold foiled boxes
It was hard to hide my excitement
I unraveled the wrapping paper.
A cute, black box.
Opened lays a silver and gold studded cross.
My new prized possession.
