The Distorted World
It'd been a week since,
She'd begun taking trips
To the distorted world of sins'
Filled with injections, pills and drug strips
She reached their Hideout'
The room was filled with smoke
There were teens tall, short, thin and stout
Their sinful euphoria never broke.
Her friend offered her a syringe,
She injected her arm with it
The euphoria took over, making her lose the conscious hinge
The dizziness on their faces was writ.
Six of them got in the car
She was with them
Where would they go? Perhaps the bar?
Nah, their euphoria was at the helm.
The car hit the street;
The music blared out of the speakers
It was cold; There was no heat,
They turned on the heaters.
After that something went wrong
Something collided with them. A bike?
But the effects were really strong..
The people in the car got a nauseous hike.
The guy on the bike had been carrying,
Long iron rods behind him
They shattered the glass that needed cleaning
And impaled the teen driver at his heart's rim.
The people in the car scrambled out,
Their senses seemed to have run away
They wanted to hitch a ride
But they could just stand and sway.
She got teary eyed,
The driver had been a childhood friend;
She let loose the tears and sighed
She seemed to be at breakdown's end.
All this had happened
Only due to their addiction,
She heard the sirens loudened
They had fallen, will there be any resurrection?
