A Childhood
A Childhood
A time when I was small
When everyone was tall
When no one did listen to me
Nor played with me at all
A time when I was free
No chores, no work, no tea
When everyone kept loosing time
Back then, except for me
A time when I had toys
My dolls of girls and boys
I kept on playing all the day
Emitting all the noise
A time when life was nice
So simple; with no price
I could have spent it by a chase of ugly rats and mice
