When I closed my eye's
I hoped to dream of you
But I didn't know how to picture you
I tried over and over again
But all I saw was a tall dark shadow
I didn't know what to do
"Should I fear it?"
"Or should not fear it?"
The questions I asked myself
The shadow walked toward me
I didn't know what to do
So I backed up untell there is no where to go
I fell to the ground
And I closed my eye's once again
The shadow told me to open my eye's
And not to worry
So I opened my eye's
And when I opened my eye's the shadow was gone
And all I saw was you
You were the shadow
And I feared you
I didn't know what to do so I cried
I was scared that you would become the shadow again
And that I would lose you to this darkness
I just wouldnt be able to do handle that
So you helped me up
You wiped away my tears
You told me would be together forever and that ever thing would be okay
So we held each other
And now when I dream of you
I dont want to wake up
Not only because I can picture you
But I can picture us
You and me
Nothing in the world to worry about
In my dream-land age is one thing that dont matter
We can be together forever
But the day you say you love me
That will be the day I fear
It wont be me fearing you
But me fearing falling more in love
In love with someone I may lose
Someone I may never get to hug again
Or kiss or even hold again
Someone who may only excest in the real world
Someone i may never get to do any of that with
Except in my dreams
Because in my dreams you will always be there with me
Just like in my heart
