Svartifoss

What are the shadows that linger here?
Their headstones hold blank elegies.
Your waist is covered by black cold waves
And do they not
Clarify?
Gray rock, it builds a point of view
And
So many love that point of view
But
I've seen the waters of Svartifoss and
Know much better than they do.
So this
Dreamy, lusty form displayed
In sheets of white satin,
Spent in days of dead leaves
Cold relief.
You ask, I say, come and I will
Show you a new caprice, give it
For your
Lust for new beginnings.
Never will you suffer more.
Are you not alone in this
Terrible drift, this
Unkind and
Blissful race?
Woe has not shown himself
But embarrassment, and
Pointlessness, and
Classlessness
Have ground my bones to dust.
Chills, soft to the touch follow my hands,
With cut up, fallen things.
Drawing,
Drips
Drips...
drips...
Insanity flips,
And beauty is found in the most
Mundane of places.
Us, we'll sway and wind will
Soften.
A smile on soft lips on
Perfect beauty will
Choke the mermaids on mud.
