So here I am in all this despair,
And you came to me without a care.
You make me feel so happy and free,
I bet you have no idea that you do this to me.
The way you laugh, the way you smile,
For you, I would run way more than a mile.
I just want to be with you all the time,
Because being with you is purely sublime.
It may seem just a bit foolish,
But right now that is all that I wish.
Take your time, but don't wait too long,
For this may end like a bittersweet love song.
So hold me close and hold me tight,
I will stay with you 'til the morning light.
