Voice Cracks or: My Attempt at Poetic Humor

I have a vinyl disk skipping,
Or a cd in its player likewise,
Makes my face like fire as they
Laugh, but won’t this soon pass?
I sound of a siren, that
Meeps and beeps to the up-down
Tempo of reggae, but!
This is the pitch, not the beat.
Or am I a boombox,
Volume turned to the max but
Playing nothing, nothing,
Just crackling from the
Static?
