Heaven's Door
Through the doorway out of site,
There lies a sacred land.
Push and pull and try as you might,
you can not beat God's hand.
There is a key, not a normal key,
That opens heaven's door.
It is lost in a place we cannot see,
Though we search from shore to shore.
The door withstands the test of time,
It is not scarred or worn.
It is hard and firm at it's prime,
Like the rose's thorn.
Many have tried and failed to enter,
Yet more have made it through.
All one must do is find their center,
make their hearts good and true.
Dream and do and have some fun,
Life is not a chore.
Enjoy this time, the rain and sun,
Before knocking on heaven's door.
