Little Sister
I lie in my bed and stare up above
Speaking my questions to one that I love
Why is the sky blue, and why are we here?
Do you really love me, and do you care?
Answer me please, I really need to know
Why does the rain make the spring flowers grow?
It’s not so hard, just listen to my plea
Answer my questions and set my mind free
Suddenly darkness surrounds my small room
And I feel alone, lost in my dark tomb
So many questions have remained unsaid
But my older sister has gone to bed
