Board Game God
I opened the box and set up the game
Small little pieces that all looked the same
I rolled the dice and I picked up a card
The card took effect right in my backyard
Rain showered down, my yard under water
I gasped out loud at the nature slaughter
Another card said worldwide hunger
Then there was death as sudden as thunder
I cried in sheer terror, what had I done?
I tried to be God, and I had not won
Dead: half the world, picked out strong from weak
Then I smiled, no more people are meek
The world is better; the world is stronger
Now mankind shall survive even longer
I continue the game, with its cards of power
Time to be mean, make the world cower
