Hope
Strangled sorrow,
Dreams of the morrow,
Fading slowly,
Ever so lowly,
The great release,
Left us only one piece,
A dream,
A better day,
Still in our grasp,
Never deserting,
She stays,
Night and day,
Lighting the way,
Always lighting,
Always inspiring,
From the darkest depths,
To lowest of lows,
She stays,
Thankfully, she stayed
