Shadows
October 25, 2008
Trapped in the shadows of my mind;
I desperately search for something lost;
Something found,
I hold my breath as I go under,
Hoping to release myself from this pain,
As I lay on the ground;
I watch the moon and sun float
Side by side;
Hoping the light will banish this
Darkness away,
As I run from my fears,
I feel as though I’m chasing
Shadows that will never appear,
As I search for you in the
Dark,
I hear the wolf cry to the moon
In the sky,
I realize I’ll always be
trapped in the
Shadows
Of my mind.

How can there be shadows in your mind? How can you chase them? What are you going under? Why are you holding your breath? Is it water? How can you search for something lost and found at the same time? I am so confused!!! Please specify!
