on the cold hard bare floor.

To lose all your hope,
as losing your precious prized gift to a tief.

To have endless tears falling in waterfalls from your eyes,
just as the Niagra Falls roar in an endless cycle.

To feel your mind go numb and block your thoughts,
as if a ring's stuck on your finger.

To feel your heart clench painfully and fell repeatedly stabbed,
just as clay is squeezed and molded to others' liking.

Betrayal is dark
heavy
and deep.

Those are fortunate who have not felt it,
