sparkling ring on my finger
memories of sandy beach nights
tastes of the red cherries linger
cookie dough chips and dim lights
rickety stairs and dirt driveways
loud country music and cards
thin beds and sunburning hot days
the wind makes the gray mirror marred
up and down down and up floating
butter, potatoes and clams
wave dancing, mermaids, and swimming
mint truffels, just who i am
