I'm Not Alive
I sit in this seat with a grim expression;
you all smile, and laugh 'round me;
that you no longer see me
crying and screaming for love,
for a friend, for a family;
my heart beats a dead ragged beat;
as I continue to die;
and you continue to live,
I've become numb to the world
'round me that I no longer can
breathe,
No, I lie here breathless as you go on breathing
without a care;
you are blinded by the world;
as I am dieing by it,
even though I'm not alive;
I feel sorry for you;
for you are the one that can't
see pain, nor love nor care,
So; as I'm not alive,
you are not dead but hurting,
and I too will hurt, with you;
for you;
I'm not alive.
