I Await a Rainbow
I Await a Rainbow
In the auspiciousness of mind
But only shades of white and black
Entangled, will I find
I await the colors
To flood and show the way
In the overflowing moment
When my sentiment is gray
I await a moment
When the dimness fades from soul
When I finally break free from this;
The dullness and its hold
I await a change, of kinds
To make my future bright
But find that in the color schemes
The shades are that of night
Abandoning those brighter dreams
The shades are that of night.
