The Faerie's Stars
The stars are little faeries dancing in the dark
They sway and bounce in the moonlit sky
And sing so softly to the mother moon.
The stars are faeries signing Morse code to each other,
Making languages
And telling each other stories.
The stars are the faeries lungs,
Breathing slowly, fast asleep
From the owls singing lullabies to them
The stars are their little voices,
Whispering secrets
Beneath their mother moon.
