A man in a position of great import
must be willing to do what he must.
Whether he manages a nation or a port,
he must be wise, or it’ll all go bust.

He must be willing to do what he must,
or of his dreams he will always fall short.
He must be wise or it’ll all go bust,
and the people’ll be angry and assault his court.

Without this knowledge of his dreams he’ll always fall short.
He must never let small things cloud his vision like dust,
lest the people become angry and assault his court.
He must be careful the gears never rust.

He must never let small things cloud his vision like dust,
or he’ll be about as useful as a wart.
He must be careful the gears never rust,
or the people will come lock him up in a fort.

He’ll be about as useful as a wart,
whether he manage a nation or a port.
If he is the people’ll lock him up in fort,
that man in a position of great import.
